Hello people! I hope you had a great halloween last weekend and maybe even an encore celebration over this weekend as well.
I’m sorry to say that there’s not gonna be much of a post today but I do want to put it out there that this is probably only one of the handful of times in my life where I have dressed up. So I would like to publicly thank my housemate for forcing me to do something more this year, Julie Malka if you’re reading this (hahaha); I must say – it was worth it, I definitely had a ton of fun so thank you.
*On a side note:
What did everyone else dress up as this year? I would love to hear about it in the comments below!
Until next time folks.
Hello! How’s everyone been doing? I’ve recently stumbled upon my latest favourite pair of boot heels. They’re called the Annie Block Heel Sock Boots from Boohoo.com and you can either click the link above to shop or just punch in the product code (dzz74608) into the search engine of their website.
These are in fact a gorgeous pair of boots and I absolutely adore them. They are generally really comfy as well, especially the material. Although, they can start to hurt quite a bit if you’ve got a lot of walking to do. Like almost every pair of boot heels out there, they’re comfortable for a few good hours but no one would particularly recommend wearing them on errands day. If you’re looking for a pair of shoes to trot down Oxford Street with, these aren’t exactly your best bet. However, if you’re looking for something to quickly throw on for a chill day out, yet still making sure your legs look like they could go on for days; or perhaps even for a week night run-down to the pub, these sock boots are your go-to team for comfort. Overall I must say, they are definitely worth getting your hands on, I mean, look at them. They literally go with everything this season (AW16), it’s like the missing puzzle piece to your wardrobe – perfectly ties together any outfit.♥

Hello everyone! Over summer I found my sister’s old varsity jacket (Forever21) while digging through her closet to look for something new to wear – as you do, and I thought, why not try and incorporate it into an outfit.
So off I went to my mum’s closet to look for something that would match and I found an old V-neck tank top from Osmose. I paired it with my all time favourite – Jamie High Waisted ripped jeans (Topshop), then proceeded to throw on my old suede wedged booties that I got from an independent store in Scape Singapore back in 2011 (Quite frankly, I’m surprised they’ve lasted this long).
I just adore this outfit and it’s absolutely perfect for a warm autumn day out or a chilly summer’s day. Too bad it’s been getting far too cold lately to parade around in this without turning into a popsicle.
Anyhoo, I hope everyone has had a great weekend recharging for the week ahead and I’ll talk to you guys again real soon!

Hi lovelies! I’m so excited to share the new Christmas ad that Boohoo filmed yesterday with you guys. Plus it was such an honour that I got to be a part of the video and that I got to experience how much work goes into filming these advertisements we see on everyday television. I had no idea it required that much effort!
When I first arrived I was really nervous because I hadn’t gone to Manchester for the Boohoo Student Brand Ambassador orientation as I was in Singapore at the time – so I thought everyone already knew each other and that it would be hard to make friends. However, everyone turned out to be really friendly and one of the girls actually couldn’t make it to Manchester either; which was great because I found comfort in the fact that I wasn’t the only fresher.
Anyway, fast forwarding to the shoot – they put me in glittery/sequinned clothes and I felt extremely uncomfortable at first since I’m perpetually in black and am the complete opposite of bright. Although, as time went on they started to grow on me and now perhaps I’m gonna start incorporating more sparkly clothing pieces in my outfit ensembles. Hopefully it turns out well, *fingers crossed*.
I met a lot of friendly people at the shoot and even though it was tiring, they definitely kept my mood up and taught me a lot – tips and tricks for blogging, instagram, jobs, etc. so that was unbelievably amazing. Overall, I had a great day and I can’t wait for the video ad to be released so that I can share it with you guys!
Also, a big thank you to Boohoo for granting me with this amazing opportunity of being their Student Brand Ambassador and for inviting me on set of the shoot yesterday. It has definitely been marked as one of my favourite days ever.

Hey guys! Apologies for my hiatus throughout most of the summer as I was catching up with my friends and family back home in Singapore – but I’m back in London now and uni has just begun. How was everyone’s summer breaks; what did you guys get up to?
In any event I thought I would do a few posts this week on my summer outfits before moving onto autumn and winter – mostly because I’ve got loads of photos which I’m excited to show you all.
Anyway, hope everyone has a great wednesday evening! I’m off to take care of a few things. Good day!
Hello everyone! I did a shoot for fun on Monday at the National Gallery. Mostly for the experience, and of course – the nice pictures. It turned out to be a lot better than I expected.
Since David (photographer) prefers candid shots, here are a few.
I don’t know why I was laughing so much that morning. I guess it had something to do with being nervous around new people. I tend to talk a lot more than I should when I feel awkward but hey, at least the laughing made for some good candid shots.
A huge thank you to my lovely friend and photographer, David (Instagram: @theterracottasoldier) and to my fellow model Xin De (Instagram: @xindeyap) for being so sweet and helping me out.
